Jane Brunt, DVM, is the owner and founder of Cat Hospital at Towson (CHAT), the first feline-exclusive veterinary hospital in Maryland, and serves as Senior Advisor to the CATalyst Council, an organization dedicated to advancing feline care and improving the quality of life for cats and the people who care for them.
CHAT is AAHA-accredited and has achieved Gold-level recognition through the Cat Friendly Practice® program. Dr. Brunt is a past president of both the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association and is a longtime member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), where she remains active in leadership initiatives.
She has co-authored peer-reviewed articles and contributed to veterinary textbooks, and she regularly shares her expertise through professional publications, podcasts, online platforms, and LinkedIn. Throughout her career, Dr. Brunt has been a passionate advocate for advancing feline health and well-being among veterinary professionals, cat caregivers, and the next generation of feline advocates.
