Joe Metzger brings over 35 years of game-changing expertise in supply chain leadership, honed at some of the world’s largest and most respected companies in retail and consumer goods. Known for his strategic acumen and transformative impact, Joe has driven operational excellence for industry giants Walmart, Kellogg’s, and Kraft Heinz. During his tenure as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Walmart, Joe led a team of 140,000 associates across 115 distribution centers and 38 fulfillment centers, expertly navigating the challenges of the pandemic while accelerating Walmart’s adoption of automation and technology. His focus on sustainable, results-driven innovation has made Walmart’s supply chain a model of resilience and efficiency.

At Kellogg’s, Joe led North American supply chain operations, overseeing manufacturing, distribution, procurement, and food safety, and implementing systems that strengthened the company’s capabilities and performance across safety, quality, service, and cost. At Kraft Heinz, Joe’s leadership spanned multiple divisions, managing end-to-end supply chains that delivered both top- and bottom-line growth, while driving significant advancements in technology and workforce development.
