Following the launch of their custom-built pet portal and mobile app in Fall 2023, Heart + Paw is excited to introduce this latest addition to their daily operations, enabling one point of contact for all pet health needs from prescriptions to preventatives to diets. Designed and powered in partnership with Wedgewood’s Blue Rabbit platform, Pharmacy makes ordering pets’ prescriptions easier and more seamless than ever. Key features of Pharmacy include:

Veterinarian-Facing Practice Portal: Our internal portal enables streamlined workflow for prescribing veterinarians, allowing for quicker prescription turnaround for pets who need their medicines sooner.

Seamless Management for Care Teams: Easy and effective management enables care teams to manage and monitor patients’ medications for better continuity of care and review of medication history.

Clear Communications: Automated text messages and email communications keep pet parents abreast of the status of their pets’ prescriptions and medications, from approval to refills.

Easy Ordering and Autoship: With all of the pet’s prescriptions and information in one place, it’s easier than ever for a pet parent to log on and get what they need to help their pet live their happiest, healthiest life delivered right to their front door. Monthly medicines such as flea and tick preventatives can even be set to autoship with a discount, encouraging compliance and making it easier than ever to stick to a wellness schedule.

Integration with Heart + Paw’s Portal and App: Heart + Paw’s custom-built app, already a convenient and easy-to-use way for pet parents to access their pets’ records, now allows for re-ordering prescriptions seamlessly.

Teletriage service will be available whenever select Heart + Paw centers are closed and will allow pet parents to determine if their ill or injured pet can safely wait for an appointment once their Heart + Paw center reopens, or if emergency care is needed.

During the launch and expansion phase, the service will be offered free of charge as part of Heart + Paw’s promise to treat pets and pet parents like family.
